Best time to visit

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer ideal temperatures (20-28°C). Summer can be hot but less than Marrakech.

Geographic location

Fes is located in northern Morocco, in the Fes-Meknes region. It is 60 km from Meknes and 180 km from Rabat. Fes-Saïs Airport offers regular flights to Europe.

Specialties

Famous Fassi cuisine: pigeon pastilla, prune tajine, harira. Crafts: tanneries, blue pottery, zellige, embroidery.
