Best time to visit
From October to April, temperatures are pleasant (20-28°C). Avoid July and August when the heat can exceed 45°C.
Geographic location
Merzouga is located in southeastern Morocco, about 560 km from Marrakech, near the Algerian border. Access is by road via Erfoud or Rissani.

Sand-baked bread, Berber tajine, dates. Crafts: carpets, Tuareg jewellery, pottery. Activities: sandboarding, quad biking, camel riding.
